This week everyone is gearing up for our nations Independence Day Celebrations.
Around here that means one thing...GRILLING, and LOTS of it!
That's right, I have a feeling more grills will be fired up Friday than on any other day this summer! So here on The Kitchen Wife I am going to be talking about all things BBQ and to get things started, you can't have anything BBQ if you don't have a good sauce. My dad, Tom Racer, is FAMOUS in our area for his BBQ sauce. I can't tell you the times people have come to him asking if he will make his BBQ meatballs for their various events. Therefore, if we are going to be BBQing this week, I have to share this recipe with you! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!
Let's get started!

Onion powder....
Celery seed...
And finally, salt and pepper to taste.
Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 30 minutes to thicken,
and then let it come to room temperature .
And there it is!
Tom Racer's BBQ Sauce is quite possibly the BEST
BBQ sauce you have ever put in your mouth!
I love to serve this over my Apple Wood Smoked Pulled Pork,
but this is perfect over meatballs, on meatloaf, chicken, ANYTHING!
I KNOW this is about to become your family recipe as well.
So get your sauce ready because we are going to have PLENTY of recipes to slather it over!
